07-day money back policy*

Once the product is returned under our 07-day money back policy (* not applicable on Solitaires above INR 1 lakh, Coins and Customized orders) 100% refund will be credited to your Carats & Gemstones account.

  • C&G Cash - You can refund the amount to your last payment sources or bank account as the case may be.
  • C&G Credits - You can use it for a future purchase. The amount cannot be refunded.
  • Voucher/Gift card - Based on the terms and conditions of the voucher/gift card (for e.g. one-time use vouchers, discount vouchers are not applicable for refund), the amount will be refunded back to the same voucher/gift card.
How do I return the product to C&G within 7 days?

1. Select the item in your order that you want to return from here.

2. Ready your jewellery in the original packing material along with the certificate.

  1. If the product value is less than Rs. 35,000, then please hand over the product to the person coming for pickup.
  2. If the product value is Rs. 35,000 or above and a Carats & Gemstones employee is picking the product, then please hand over the product to the person coming for pickup
  3. If the product value is Rs. 35,000 or above and if the return pickup has been arranged via one of our 3rd party logistics partners; first you will receive a tamper-proof packet from us. Please secure your jewellery in it and seal it before the pickup person arrives at your doorstep. Once sealed, the packet cannot be opened unless destroyed. We will arrange for the pickup once you have received the tamper-proof packet. On the date when the pickup is scheduled, please hand over the packet with the product to the person.

3. Please collect an acknowledgement (pickup receipt on paper/ photo of tracking number/ SMS confirmation of pickup).

4. Once we receive the product at our warehouse, your refund will be processed to your Carats & Gemstones account in 2-3 working days after a quality check.

Lifetime Exchange & Buy-Back Policy:

We offer Lifetime Exchange & Buy Back on all purchases* made from Carats & Gemstones within India, applicable after the expiry of return period under the 07-day money back policy. You may avail Lifetime Exchange & Buy Back by presenting your purchase at a store or raising a request online. The exchange/buy back value will be calculated as per the current market value on the day the exchange request is raised. ₹ 500 processing charges for shipping and handling, along with any applicable deductions as mentioned below, will apply.

If you received a discount or any gift while making your purchase, we will deduct the equivalent value, as applicable. You can also choose to return the gift received.

For solitaire jewellery, if the solitaire certificate(s) is missing, then a standard deduction of ₹ 2500 will be applicable per certificate. For larger solitaires, the deduction may be higher than ₹ 2500 based on the size.

Lifetime Exchange

If you choose to avail Lifetime Exchange on your purchase, the final exchange value will be loaded as C&G Credits in your Carats & Gemstones account after Quality Check (QC). The C&G Credits will remain valid for 365 days and can be used to purchase jewellery with us. You cannot encash the amount.

Lifetime Buy-Back

If you choose to avail Lifetime Buy Back on your purchase, the final buy-back value will be loaded as C&G Cash in your Carats & Gemstones account after Quality Check (QC). The C&G Cash will remain valid for 365 days and can be used to purchase anything with us or be encashed.
